From SEA LIFE’s underwater adevntures to the arrival immersive bubble world, Mall of America, Minneapolis has a lot going on this season. In fact, they’re even rolling out a slate of back-to-school promotions this summer. There are discounts across dozens of retailers, a bundled ride-and-gift-card offer at Nickelodeon Universe and a charitable shoe drive benefiting Twin Cities students experiencing homelessness. Shop and ride combo: how to get 50% off Nickelodeon Universe tickets
One of the headline offers pairs a $50 MOA Gift Card with 50% off a Nickelodeon Universe Unlimited Ride Wristband — the bundle is priced at $75, saving buyers more than $25. The deal is available exclusively at any Mall of America guest service desk and runs through September 7. Wristbands are valid for one day from the date of purchase through October 4, with a limit of five per transaction.
The Crayola Store bonus
Customers who spend $50 or more in a single pre-tax transaction at The Crayola Store between July 15 and September 7 will receive one free general admission ticket to Crayola Experience. The ticket remains valid through October 4 and applies only to the Mall of America location. Pre-K through 12th grade teachers can also claim a free admission ticket at the Crayola Experience admission counter — with a valid school badge or recent pay stub plus photo ID — through September 7.
Student and teacher discounts across the Mall of America, Minneapolis
A wide range of stores are offering 10% or more off for students and teachers presenting a valid ID or using the MOA app. Participating retailers include Studs, Zwilling (15% off through September 7), Anthropologie, A|X Armani Exchange, Aéropostale (up to 60% off through August 31), Nordstrom Rack, Claire’s, Clarks, Crocs, Dr. Martens, Kendra Scott, kate spade new york, L.L.Bean, Levi’s, New Balance, and Oakley, among others.
Most discounts run through September 7. Some exclusions apply. Apple is also offering education pricing on Mac, iPad, Apple Watch, and more for current and incoming college students, their parents, and faculty or staff. Verification through UNiDAYS is required, either online or in-store.
Shoes for 10,000 kids
Beyond the retail deals, Mall of America has partnered with nonprofit Soles4Souls on the Level Up 4EveryKid campaign, with a goal of providing shoes to 10,000 students experiencing homelessness across the Twin Cities this back-to-school season.
