Doggy delicious!
Minneapolis certainly has its fair share of pet-friendly patios to enjoy alongside your furry friends, from the Aster Cafe courtyard to the picturesque lakeside Sandcastle patio. But which patios let your pooch join in on the gourmet fun? We dug up the details below.
Craft and Crew is a restaurant group that manages the newly-opened Duke’s on 7 in Minnetonka, Stanley’s NE Bar Room in Northeast Minneapolis, The Howe Daily Kitchen & Bar in South Minneapolis, Pub 819 in Hopkins, and The Block Food + Drink in St Louis Park. Each of these restaurants offers a super-deluxe three-course dog menu so that dogs can indulge alongside their human companions.
The appetizer options a smoked beef marrow bone or pig’s ear by Von Hanson’s. Entrees range from turkey meatloaf to an egg-and-greens rice bowl to the extravagant seared salmon cakes with quinoa, jasmine brown rice, flax, spinach, and apples. Finally, dessert entails a banana and peanut butter ‘pop cream’ or homemade pup cookies. Each restaurant also throws in a complementary Nilla ‘Woofer.’
For extra comfort, their ‘pawtios’ also provide dogs a comfy yoga mat to sit on. Duke’s also has faux grass covering half the patio for additional canine comfort. In keeping with the dog theme, they also accept Dogecoin as a form of payment when you order off the dog menu!
