Candlelight: The Wizard of Oz – A Classical Concert
The magic of The Wizard of Oz isn’t just in its story — it’s woven into every note of its iconic soundtrack. From the cheerful march from Munchkinland with “Follow the Yellow Brick Road” to the Scarecrow’s witty performance of “If I Only Had a Brain”, these on-screen moments are made all the more memorable thanks to the songs that accompany them.
This season, Candlelight invites you to experience the wonder of Oz with a 60-minute musical journey that honors the music of the movie. Surrounded by thousands of twinkling candles, a string quartet will fill the air with classics like “Over the Rainbow” and “We’re Off to See the Wizard.” It’s a musical escape into Oz — no tornado needed — just classic songs, a touch of nostalgia and the flicker of candlelight.
